An Employee Stock Ownership Plan is a tax qualified benefit program, governed by US law, that gives employees beneficial ownership in the company. Our gains – such as productivity, profits, revenues, and efficiencies – increase the value of our ESOP. We say that our primary responsibilities are to preserve and grow ESOP shareholder value, as it is the means by which own our financial futures. Most importantly, our ESOP defines our culture of respectful, mutual accountability.

We offer comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and voluntary plans – including company-paid Short Term Disability, Life Insurance, access to our Employee Assistance Program, and industry-leading experts in financial planning. Our Wellness Incentive Program provides additional company-paid funds towards the cost of our premiums if we choose to proactively manage our health and meet certain biometric criteria. We have a team of volunteer employee-owners who drive local wellness initiatives like in-office meditation, activity challenges, and charity events.
Many of our offices are regularly stocked with beverages and snacks to fuel our progress. Certain locations have access to onsite gyms and showers, and many are located in scenic areas within short distance to restaurants, shopping areas, and walking trails.
We believe strongly in fostering a continuous learning environment. It begins with our robust six (6) month onboarding program that immerses new hires into who we are at The Management Trust. Many roles have position-specific training curricula that pair internal best practices with external opportunities (like conferences). Our Champion Employee Owner program is a two and a half day intensive session led by Bill Sasser, our CEO. We walk away with a greater understanding of our part in what we call the Critical Path. Upon completion we are eligible for a 5% increase in our pay (requires annual recertification). As we continue to grow we may become eligible to participate in the Chairman’s Circle and learn the art and science behind quality leadership.
We offer ten (10) paid holidays each year in addition to vacation and sick time accrual. Many locations close early each Friday to recognize our hard work and the need to spend quality time with our loved ones. Mobile phone reimbursements are available to qualified employees, and we offer limited telecommuting to certain roles.
