As the former President of the Northwest region for The Management Trust, Marshall Fant, CMCA®, CCAM® – Emeritus®, now works with builders and developers throughout Oregon, Washington, California, Colorado, Nevada and Arizona. He holds credentials from both the national Community Association Institute, as well as the California Association of Community Managers.

As a developer/builder himself of more than 3,000 homes over a 24-year period, Marshall has spent his entire career partnering with developers from the initial design of planned communities to well-beyond turnover. The primary goal has always been to apply his practical experience in working with the building industry, government entities, title companies, realtors, and homeowners in order to establish well-functioning community associations, all the while meeting the expectations of both developers and home buyers.

As a trailblazer in the industry, he was a former Board member of the Portland Home Builders Association, a co-founder of the Home Builders Foundation, and alongside a short list of other industry leaders, a co-founder of “OWCAM”, the “Oregon-Washington Community Association Managers.” He has also held a variety of board positions with the national and local Cystic Fibrosis Foundation chapters.
